Description[]
An Infected is a civilian who has been bitten by a zombie. If they are bitten but get away they will sprint in the opposite direction of the zombie that just bit them. This is usually very dangerous because they could start outbreaks on the opposite side of the map. These people will act much like regular civilians, but after a small amount of time they will become a zombie. During their change, they spit blood and stay stationary for a few moments. This is an opportune time to get away from them.

- The period between a civilian being bitten and turning into a zombie is called the 'infection time'. The times range from one second up to five minutes. (the playable game has a two minute default infection time).
